An Urban University's Approach to Anywhere, Anytime Learning

Abstract

Contemporary learners demand and deserve a hybrid approach to learning that blends technology, community space, and faculty talent with the demands of an evolving student population. In the fall of2000, more than 17,000 college students will benefit from undergraduate education delivered online, in shopping centers and high schools, off-site, on the weekends, and via television. Indiana's most comprehensive urban university creates opportunities for students to enter college, complete degrees, and begin a program of lifelong learning through the IUPUI Community Learning Network.
