Author Guidelines

Authors are expected to prepare manuscripts consistent with our Information for Authors. Manuscripts must be solely the work of the author(s) stated, must not have been previously published elsewhere, and must not be under consideration by another journal.

Manuscripts must be 7,000 words or less, inclusive of references, tables, figures, etc. and formatted in Microsoft Word (.doc). Manuscripts should be free of grammatical errors and should adhere to the requirements of APA style. Please format all submissions following APA style guidelines including references. Manuscripts that do not adhere to APA guidelines and references/citations style will be returned.

Manuscripts are first screened for fit with the Journal’s Aims and Scope, and readiness for peer review. The editor may elect to reject manuscripts at this stage, or request revisions prior to initiating the review.

Estimated time from initial submission to publication: five to six months.

Copyright Notice

All content is published under Creative Commons CC BY 4.0 licensing, which enables authors to retain copyright while allowing others to copy, distribute, and make some uses of their work, provided full credit is given to them as originators. Authors selected for publication will sign an agreement with Metropolitan Universities journal acknowledging this and other acceptable uses of their work.

Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in this journal.
