Keywords:
Higher Education, Organizational ChangeAbstract
This article describes similar organizational change processes in two rather different institutions, both keeping the strengths and familiarities of the old while creating a new, more responsive organization. The experiences in both cases suggest some basic principles of organizational change that can be helpful elsewhere. Foremost among these is the need to balance a respect for the former organization while moving to a new set of structures that respond to current needs.Downloads
