The Future by Design: The Donaghey Project at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock

Abstract

This paper examines the urban extension role of the Donaghey Project for Urban Studies and Design at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in assisting small and large towns in Arkansas cope with the problems inherent in development Drawing its f acuity from across the UALR campus as well as professionals in the field and student interns from multiple campuses, the Project assesses assumptions and problems caused by urban growth and renewal, and provides consulting and referral services to professionals and informational programs for the public.
