Brittany Fukushima was born in Oceanside, California in 1995. They lived there a year before relocating with their family to Indianapolis, Indiana to live with their grandmother. Fukushima remained in Indianapolis until the start of their undergraduate career at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. There, they pursued animation until 2015 when they, once again, moved back to Indianapolis to attend Herron School of Art and Design. Currently, they are pursuing their BFA in integrative studio practice with a focus in printmaking; they expect to graduate in the spring of 2019. Fukushima has exhibited in both Chicago and Indianapolis and recently exhibited at Sugar Space. They live and work in downtown Indianapolis.
